Ca Mau is the southernmost province of Vietnam with two sides adjacent to the sea: the east is the East Sea, and the west is the West Sea in the Gulf of Thailand. Coming to Ca Mau Cape, visitors will experience exploring the mangrove forest with a uniquely diverse ecosystem. With an area of more than 63,000 hectares, most of the mangrove forests are located in the world biosphere reserve area of Cape Ca Mau and there are more than 15,000 hectares of forest in the area of Cape Ca Mau National Park. There are up to 22 species of salt-tolerant plants and other species of ferns and vines. This is the second largest Ca Mau mangrove forest in the world, second only to the Amazon forest in South America.
Coming here, visitors will regret not experiencing surfing on a long motorized boat (vo lai) to weave into the canals, sometimes straight, sometimes meandering under the dense forest canopy. A small boat is sometimes just a small dot tearing water into the vast world of the intersection between river and sea.
