Team building in Vung Tau

Located 110 km southeast of Saigon – Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau is a long-established and famous coastal tourist city. In the early 16th century, alongside the global maritime explorations, European voyagers set foot on what is now Vung Tau. This area provided them with fresh water, firewood, and provisions for their journeys. By 1775, Portuguese and French ships were frequenting Vung Tau’s waters for trade and the exchange of goods. From then on, the French referred to Vung Tau as Cap Saint-Jacques. Besides the names Vung Tau and Cap Saint-Jacques, the name “O Cap” as a shortened and localized version of “Au Cap,” began to be used by the people of Southern Viet Nam around 1930.

This destination captivates visitors with its picturesque coastal scenery, featuring numerous beaches that stretch along the city, including Bai Truoc, Bai Sau, Bai Dau, and Bai Dua. It also boasts cultural and historical landmarks, luxurious resorts, and delicious fresh seafood. In addition to leisure and relaxation, and exploring the city’s landscapes during holidays and weekends, Vung Tau is also an attractive destination for corporate team building activities and MICE events, thanks to its unique advantages in geographic location, infrastructure, and natural beauty.

Ideal climate

Like many other areas in the South, this region enjoys a tropical monsoon climate with two distinct seasons: the dry season from November to April and the rainy season from May to October. The rainy season brings short, refreshing showers, typically occurring in the afternoon or evening, and this area is notably unaffected by storms. Even during the rainy season, mornings often feature beautiful sunshine, offering ideal conditions for visitors to enjoy the sea. With an average annual rainfall of only about 1,300 mm, Vung Tau is known for its dry climate. The average temperature ranges from 25°C to 30°C, with warm sunshine gracing the area for approximately 300 days each year.
