Team building on sand dunes
Considered the Sahara Desert of Viet Nam, the sand dune landscape in the South Central Coastal Plain has the pristine beauty of giant and naked sand mountains piling up gently on top of each other like a sexual girl lying half asleep on the verandah.
The strip of sandy land and coastal sand dunes here has an area of 264,981 hectares, accounting for more than 50% of the total area of sandy land and coastal sand dunes of the country, Binh Thuan province alone has 125,935 hectares. Many sand dunes have a clear crescent shape with the gentle slope being the windward side where the surface is imprinted with ripples caused by the wind and the steep slope being the leeward side where each grain of sand slides down the slope. The sand dunes are like a precious gem that is polished day by day through seasonal winds, the northeast monsoon (from November to April) and the southwest monsoon (from May to October).
Exotic Vietnam designs many attractive team building programs on sand dunes, such as team building in Mui Ne, Phan Thiet or team building in Mui Dinh, Phan Rang, etc. Playgrounds are organized on many different types of terrain:
- Flow: Natural flow cuts through sand formations of different colors, water level height is 10 – 50cm. Many natural challenges are high sand slopes or small marshes that line the stream. Along the journey there are many trees and cool air.
- Sand dune: Hot and dry. The journey cuts through countless crescent sand dunes in succession, up and down for 20 – 30m. On the windward side, the sand ripples, forming small ripples and being compacted. On the leeward side, each grain of sand slides down each sand hill top and is very porous.
- Gully: This is a unique terrain type on red sand created by erosion. The flow creates deep and long grooves in the red sand. The vertical slot walls have many “fairy chimneys” which are lonely sand columns left over after the erosion process. Sand cliffs 5 – 6m high are interesting natural obstacles.
A typical team building activity on the sand dunes is dash run. This is a run with a distance designed according to customer requirements, 2, 3, 5 or 7km with natural challenges (sand slopes, gully walls, quicksand, hot and dry climate, etc.) and challenge by Exotic Vietnam. With a long, continuous series of challenges, it requires not only individual efforts but also the determination of the whole team for everyone to reach victory. To reduce physical load and increase fun, jeeps or bicycles can be combined on some routes.
Team building on sand dunes is a typical eco-team building activity of Exotic Vietnam. The message of the program is the values that the business wishes to convey to employees and the wonderful natural values that everyone works together to preserve.
